Apollo Brown makes a beat on Rhythm Roulette

On this latest episode of Rhythm Roulette, beatmaker Apollo Brown picks up three random vinyls from the Record Gaveyard in Detroit. Watch him chop them up, and turn them into a sample-based beat from scratch. Note that he uses little more than Cool Edit Pro to make his beat, and how the drums provide the backbone of the track (Quote: “It’s hard for me to chop a sample without drums”).
